Attention Whores

So, as I listen to "Don't just take your clothes off!", I start my first official blog post on an issue of my choosing. This happens to be....

People who just take their clothes off.....for fame.

Yes, you heard right, the people we love to hate and hate to love, but we do because their lives seem so much better than ours. I can tell you right now I believe that statement because my life seems as shit as hell since I moved.

Anyway, what purpose do these people serve?? Kim Kardashian was originally a high school graduate with what seemed way to many celebrity relationships that one person alone could handle. But she did, right?

I didn't believe the claims at first. I said, "Her ass can't be that big!" But I was wrong...

 

 

 

Despite the obvious hype over the show, her claim to fame was not Keeping up with the Kardashians, it was on a TV series called 'Beyond the Break', which she only got into due to her ties with fellow social parasite and possibly worst singer on the world, Paris Hilton. yes, Hilton was Kim's only way of making it to the top, if  you exclude the sex tape discovered in 2007. Of course, this attention allowed Mr I-love-myself-so-much, Ryan Seacrest, to find her and set her and her family up on a reality TV show. Her career has rocketed, and the many friends she may have had in high school will now find it hard to keep up with her...

Another thing that irritates me about attention seekers is the depths they will sink to in order to keep their popularity ahead of another competitor.

Seriously, I do not want to sit down to the news only to hear that Dolly Parton got another botox jab, or that Tom Cruise proclaims his love for scientology for the gazillion-billionth time. Do they think I'm some 30 yr old pervert still living in my parent's house clutching a copy of ZOO and Women's Day?!!

Unfortunately, I have to come to the end of my weather report, for I'm afraid we'll run overtime, and then people waiting to find out who's who's mother on Home and Away will get upset.

Eduard's Forecast: It seems the world will never get enough of these mischeif-makers, and this phenomenon of people showing their butt for the whole world just to make a dollar will not be moving away from the western world anytime soon. But hey, there's other stuff to occupy us while we wait for the storm to clear....
